Happy November! This year has been a crazy one and I am personally looking forward to it ending! With all the chaos going on I thought it would be helpful to send you some information about graduation stuff. Our supplier of everything graduation related is Herf Jones. Attached to this email is a flyer from our Herf representative Jim Heckel. The flyer has several helpful links. One is to the website where you can place your orders for announcements, t-shirts, tassels, sweatshirts, and more. There is also a link to a video that explains some of your purchasing options and also gives you a preview of the items. There is only a 2-week ordering window so it is important to take a look and make a decision pretty quickly. I encourage you all to take a peek. The custom announcement that was selected this year is very nice!
For caps and gowns this year we will be renting them (the rental gowns are much better quality!). Even though the gown is a rental, the cap and tassel will still be yours to keep. You will not be placing an order for the cap and gown with your other items. We will place this order later. There are three options for students when paying for their cap and gown:
To cover the full rental cost you need to sell 1.5 boxes of World’s Finest Chocolate $1 Candy Bars (90 bars).
You can sell 1 box of World’s Finest Chocolate $1 Candy Bars (60 bars) and also pay $15.
You do not have to sell any chocolate bars and can cover the rental fee of $45 on your own.
If purchasing all or part of the rental fee on your own, the funds need to be given to Mrs. Melton in the library. If you want to participate in the fundraiser and have not talked to me yet, I still have candy bars for you to sell.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
