Posted Date: 01/30/26 (02:15 PM)

CSD students, parents, and community members,

Each year, the Crystal Apple Award recognizes outstanding educators across our region who demonstrate exceptional dedication to students, high-quality instruction, and a strong commitment to their school community. It is one of the highest honors an educator can receive through our regional ESD.

I am excited and proud to share some wonderful news! Please join me in recognizing  Angie Boothe on being selected as the Columbia School District 2026 Crystal Apple Award recipient. Angie has served our district for many years as a Middle School Interventionist, supporting students in both Mathematics and English Language Arts. During that time, she has made a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and our school community through her dedication, care, and commitment to helping every student succeed. This recognition reflects the work we see from Angie every day building strong relationships with students, supporting academic growth, and stepping in wherever help is needed. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our Coyote family.

The annual Crystal Apple Awards ceremony will be hosted by ESD 123 in Pasco on March 19, 2026, where Angie will be formally honored alongside outstanding educators from across the region. Angie represents the very best of Columbia School District putting students first, supporting colleagues, and living out our commitment to serving our community. We are proud to celebrate her and grateful for the impact she continues to make in the lives of our students every single day.

Go Coyotes!
