Parent/Guardian Information Sheet

We look forward to seeing our students from last year return -
and welcome new students!

Our schedule is a bit different from last year - we will be open Tuesday to Thursday as we were, with bus service home, on MONDAY, however, we will be open 2:30-4:30 for Homework Zone ONLY with NO bus service home.

Schedule for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays:

We begin with a snack at 2:30 – at 2:45 we open the Homework Zone, time for homework (assistance is available), project work, reading/AR testing and academic games. Class activities begin at 3:30, at 4:30 there is transportation home with the CSD school bus system.

Some class activities are: Dance classes (Hip Hop again this year); Skateboard Park Design group; World Travel; Arts and Crafts; Sports; First Aid instruction for a Babysitting Certificate; Music/Guitar classes; Science Exploration; Drama Club; Art class; Cooking class; and Chess Club.

Mondays: 2 hour Homework/Study Lab with snack – 2:30-4:30

Please Note:
If notice is given by the parent/guardian, a student may come to do homework and leave once they’re done. These students must be able to get home on their own, they may not return after leaving to take a 4:30 bus.
 
Once the attached registration form has been filled out and handed in, participation in the program may begin. Any student may come for a day to explore. Note that if you are signing up for bus transportation you need to check the box on the form. There is no registration fee.
